Responsibilities:
The Department of History, Political Science and Philosophy invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faulty appointment to begin Fall 2014. Candidates should be broadly trained in IR/Comparative Politics prepared to teach courses in International Relations and Comparative Politics as well courses in American political institutions. Teaching load is 4 courses per semester; typically two specialty and two American government courses.


Qualifications:

Ph. D. in hand or be ABD and close to finishing the Ph.D. The successful candidate will demonstrate through education and experience(1) potential for teaching excellence at an open enrollment and culturally diverse institution; and (2) commitment to undergraduate education.

Salary: $38,552-$45,355
