Responsibilities:

The Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences invites applicants for a full-time , tenure –track faulty appointments to begin in Fall 2014. Candidates should be broadly trained in the area of Criminal Justice with specialization in Corrections and Probation and Parole. Applicant must be prepared to teach upper division courses in corrections and law enforcement as well as foundation courses in Criminal Justice Administration. Teaching load is 4 courses per semester.

Qualifications:

PH.D. in hand or be ABD and close to finishing Ph.D. The successful candidate will demonstrate through education and experience(1) potential for teaching excellence at an open enrollment and culturally diverse institution; and (2) commitment to undergraduate education.

Salary: $38,552-$45,355
