Welcome to Lincoln University's Department of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. In keeping with the teaching component of the land grant mission of Lincoln University, this Department focuses on preparing students to be competent and competitive in scientific, technical, educational and professional occupations.

Students who choose a major in this department will find undergraduate degree programs in agriculture, agri-business and environmental science. Courses in aquaculture, biotechnology, GIS and wildlife are also offered through this department. Students may also prepare for veterinary school by customizing their program of study to meet the unique requirements of this profession.

The faculty of the department is committed to provide quality and personalized educational experiences that will assist students in their personal development and preparation for science and related area careers or graduate study. Many members of the faculty are also involved in a variety of research projects with Cooperative Research
