Dr. Said Sewell
Vice President of Academic Affairs and Provost

On behalf of the Office of Academic Affairs, I welcome you to a virtual tour of the Lincoln University academic programs. As an 1890 land-grant comprehensive institution, LU is committed to providing “excellent educational opportunities for a diverse student population in the context of an open enrollment institution.”

The Office of the Vice President is responsible for overseeing all academic programs and a variety of academic services at Lincoln. In support of the institutional mission, we offer more than 50 programs of study, including high quality, student-centered undergraduate programs grounded in the liberal arts and sciences and select graduate programs to prepare students for professional service and lifelong learning.

We are proud of the overall excellence of our programs; the quality of our faculty and staff; and the accomplishments of our students, graduates, and alumni.   Academic Affairs Newsletter: Recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of Academic Affairs.   Also included in each issue are highlights of our international programs; collaborations with local, state, and national agencies; and other outreach activities such as those funded by the USDA and the Department of Defense.
